About Kristen
Kristen is the founder of Healthy Habits Counseling Orlando LLC. She is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC)
who has been practicing in the field for over 6 years now. She lived in Virginia for 6 years while she got her Bachelors degree and Masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. After her schooling, Kristen spent some time working as a group counselor at an in-patient recovery center in Altoona FL. Due to her own personal connections, Kristen has a huge heart and passion for individuals who find themselves caught in addiction. She also has a passion for helping adolescents and young adults. She spent two years working in a local high school as a mental health counselor. Kristen currently operates in a private practice setting out of Lake Howell Health Center in Maitland FL. Her main focus is helping adolescent and adult individuals with alcohol and drug addiction, but she also enjoys helping those with anxiety, depression, codependency, and a variety of other symptoms.
About Brittany
Brittany Borda is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student intern in her final year at Grace College. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate studies. Brittany seeks to provide a safe, compassionate space for her clients to feel seen and understood as they navigate the challenges of life. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and attachment-based approaches, she works collaboratively with clients to understand how past experiences and thought patterns shape their present lives. Brittany has a special interest in working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, addiction, betrayal trauma, and body image concerns, and she is passionate about helping clients deepen self-awareness, build resilience, and experience fulfilling change.
